Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri Dixit is a famous Indian actress, best known for her role in the films Beta Saajan and Hum Hain Koun..! In the late 80s when she started her acting career and became well-known for the character Tezaab in which she appeared with an established actor Anil Kapooor. Her next film was the movie Dil In which she was on screen alongside Aamir Khan. Her birthplace was in the Mumbai middle-class family and began to dance at a young age. While still a teenager she tried her hand at acting, but the majority of her early movies were unsuccessful. She eventually became one of the biggest actresses of Indian films. The actress took a hiatus from acting following her marriage before returning to the entertainment industry. She was a key character on Gulaab Gang, a film focused on women's struggles in India. Dixit was nominated fifteen times for Filmfare Awards. She won 8 of the awards. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India is awarded to Dixit. Also, she is well recognized for her charity work.
