Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. His music is one of the biggest within the Latin mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won an Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for the year 2017. The year 2017 saw the release of ADN the first of his long-players with La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album peaked at the top of the charts, number 8 on the Top Latin Albums chart. Vaina Loca, the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. Mala Influencia was his collaboration with Noriel in 2020. The following year, Dopamina became his second album. The year 2021 was the first time he was in a duo with TINI for her hit stream song Maldita Foto. The hit single La Bachata from 2000 was released in 2023. Turizo was born into a musical household his mother and older brother are both musicians. In his interviews, he's talked about the music he plays as a compulsory activity. When he was a kid, he began learning to play saxophone guitar as well as piano and ukulele. Though his original career plan was that of a veterinarian for animals His brother Julian encouraged him to start taking singing lessons from a Cuban. This transformed his life forever.
